Our Initiatives & Projects
GLIPA, in partnership with The Kectil Program initiative of The Malmar Knowles Family Foundation, aims to equip the next generation of leaders with core knowledge of intellectual property to strengthen local innovation ecosystems. Through practical workshops, mentorship and case-based training, the program empowers young inventors, entrepreneurs and policymakers to protect ideas, commercialize solutions and drive sustainable economic growth across communities.
As part of its mission, GLIPA observes October as IP Month, organizing events and initiatives worldwide to raise IP awareness and educate communities about its role in fostering innovation and creativity.A month-long set of events grounded by governmental proclamations by local, regional, state/provincial and country governmental entities acknowledging the efforts by intellectual property creators, promoters and protectors and encouraging continued efforts throughout the year. Under the umbrella of the October IP month proclamations, corporate entities, academic institutions, law firms, judicial entities and government authorities can plan targeted, relevant events related to IP education, access and networking/collaboration.

October IP Month
It is a special platform for corporate legal and IP experts to share ideas, exchange information, and discuss best practices in the world of intellectual property (IP). It's a place where members collaborate, drawing on their combined knowledge to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in the changing IP landscape. Through discussions, sharing sessions, and networking, participants learn about new trends, innovative strategies, and effective ways to manage IP.
